To foster leadership and strong community collaborations to enhance quality of life for older adults in Larimer County

OUR MISSION

PAFC is a committed collaboration of stakeholders, organizations, and community members throughout Larimer County and Colorado. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3).

We participate in the AARP network of Age – Friendly communities and Lifelong Colorado. These networks connect us to communities across Colorado and the nation as well as support our efforts to make Larimer County a more livable community for everyone as we age.

  • Larimer County is a community in which older adults flourish as they age

  • PAFC initiates projects to support four age-friendly priority areas:

    Housing

    Culture of Aging

    Health and Wellness

    Mobility and Access

  • Our organization is designed to support teams of volunteers who design and implement projects to support an age-friendly Larimer County.

    How this Works

  • Lorye McLeod has 17 years of leadership experience for community based non-profits throughout the Western United States. She has helped start non-profits from the ground up as well as directed organizations with budgets of over four million dollars. more…

  • The PAFC has a governing board of 9 to 15 members who represent a broad cross-section of Larimer County stakeholders and who are committed to creating livable communities where all residents can flourish as they age. A more detailed list of expectations and responsibilities can be viewed in our Board Member Agreement.
