Holiday Shopping -by Kirsten Hartman

This year I choose to shop for a 9 year old girl thru a non-profit organization. In other words, I don't know the girl. Well, its been more than a few years since I shopped for a child. Imagine my surprise when I was looking at mittens/gloves. How big are 9 year old hands? I tried holding the glove up to mine and for sure it was too small for me. Then I looked around the store for other young girls. No luck. Oh well, I know the mom can return them if she needs to. Just left me with a bit more uncertainty than I wanted.
